Terms and Conditions

Please note our terms and conditions are as follows, effective from 1st April 2017.

  1. By making a booking either verbally or in writing, it is deemed you (the customer) have read and fully agree to the terms & conditions set out below and are entering into a legally binding contract.
  2. Our vehicles are all fully road legal as per NZLT requirements.
  3. All drivers hold current and valid full New Zealand licences.
  4. Only the number of passengers the vehicles are licences for will be carried.
  5. Seatbelts if fitted must be worn at all times. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult and seated at all times.
  6. No smoking in vehicles or consumption of alcohol and food.
  7. Any damage caused to a vehicle by the hirer or their guests will be charged for.
  8. The customer acknowledges and accepts the risk that these classic/vintage cars and as such there is an increased risk of mechanical failure and breakdown. While we endeavour to maintain our vehicles to the highest standard, we do not accept responsibility for a breakdown and/or any missed connections for functions, or any associated costs this may cause. In the unlikely event of a problem we will try and source an alternative vehicle or offer a full refund.
  9. We do not accept any responsibility for any injury to persons or damage to or loss of goods belonging to any person except that of which we are legally obliged to.
  10. We do not accept any responsibility for any incident, delay or changes to the arrangements which are out of our control e.g.: Road and traffic conditions or changes to roads, last minute changes to the original schedule, adverse weather conditions or acts by other persons/organisations.
  11. To secure your booking, a deposit of the first hours hire per vehicle is required at time of booking.
  12. The balance of your booking is required no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.
  13. When booking you are required to provide us, in writing your schedule detailing pick ups, drop offs, locations and any other requirements you may have. Any changes to this must be advised prior to full settlement of your booking (4 weeks prior to the event).
  14. Hireage time commences from scheduled arrival time and finishes at the agreed drop off point. Extra time will be charged in 30 minute increments at the advertised extra time rate and must be paid on the day.
  15. All confirmed bookings will receive a quote/invoice showing your full booking, deposit paid and balance due. All prices quoted are in NZD and inclusive of G.S.T. Rates can be changed at any time within prior notice.
  16. For services outside our standard region, may be subject to additional charges. This will be negotiated at the time.
  17. Refund policy of deposits if booking is cancelled prior to commencement date as follows.
    • 6 months or more prior – 75% refund
    • 3 - 6 months prior – 50% refund
    • 1 - 3 months prior – no refund
    • Less than 1 month – deposit non-refundable. Any final payment refund will be subject to circumstances of cancellation
